Dr. Awad Tag El Din was the Egyptian Minister of Health from March 2002 to December 2005. Prior to that, he was the president and vice president of Ain Shams University for one and four years, respectively He holds a Bachelor Degree in medicine, two diplomas in internal medicine and pulmonology diseases and a PhD from Ain Shams University. He is also a professor and consultant of pulmonology.
