We are pleased to announce that the distinguished nursing staff of the Cairo Specialized Hospital team has emerged as the deserving recipients of the prestigious sepsis competition award. Their dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence exemplify the standards that BASE MENA aims to foster among healthcare professionals.
In addition, the conference aims to raise the bar for healthcare professionals by emphasizing the importance of infection prevention and control. To further highlight this vital aspect of healthcare, the conference features a sepsis competition for nursing teams from six of Egypt's leading hospitals, including the Cairo Specialized Hospital.
BASE MENA (The Briefing of Antimicrobial, Sepsis, and Hemodynamics Conference) in collaboration with The Egyptian Society of Antimicrobial and Sepsis (ESAS) aimed at bringing the medical community up to speed with the latest updates in diagnosing and managing sepsis.
The conference is a platform for knowledge exchange and discussion, with the participation of seven prestigious universities in Egypt, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Ministry of Health. This collaborative effort seeks to foster a comprehensive and unified approach towards combating sepsis, a potentially life-threatening condition.
